MO Viewer++

See Attachments right where they are

New versions of JDE come with a new Attachment Viewer that is great for HTML/Text, but not so good for all other file types, making it somewhat cumbersome to use. This solution greatly improves the user experience.

You can ask your users what they think about viewing MO Attachments in JDE and we know that they would not sound very happy. Most file types will need to be downloaded first - with a number of extra mouse clicks and selections along the way.

This solution greatly simplifies and improves user experience.

Multiple connection options, flexible data selection, advanced processing capabilities and the unmatched simplicity of deployment, to mention a few benefits. And all for a very modest price.

The end result is an immediate view into all attachments, right where they are, always at the users' fingertips:

Native PDF Display

Most file types would display inline, either natively like PDF above, or with server-side conversion with .DOC and .DOCX files (i.e.: no need for MS Office to view these files), like on the screenshots below:

Display Converted DOCX

Inline display in SO Detail

Which also attaches to the Item Master at the same time, i.e.:

Inline display in Item Master

Moreover, this solution also allows collecting manual signatures, using WEB interface, right in the browser, and will store them as MO Attachments in JDE. So now in cases when the goods are delivered, or a WO completed, the customer can be asked to sign off. This is advanced functionality not available in vanilla JDE. It can be extended to any Application in JDE. And can be used on any devices capable of running JDE interface:

Collect Signature

This new powerful tool installs as a Windows Service. It can be installed on any server, but for high volume MO access it may need to be sized with more grunt.

Nothing could be easier.
